Serato has teamed with Vestax and Numark on their new software Itch

Proj - Quantum Couch

This is the result of a 6 hour jam session in my newly configured studio space with my friend Mike. Took me a couple weeks to figure out how to assemble all the sounds. I’ve tried to be faithful to the musical ideas that were recorded although I did add overdubs on drums and guitar.

The main instruments on this track are my rhodes 73, bass guitar, guitar and korg er1. THe moog is also used for a few effects. I used guru for drum overdubs. The rhodes and bass are recorded using a crappy $50 radioshack mic propped up against the fabric of an amp using a pillow running into a line6 podxt. The speaker cabinet is broken on my rhodes so I have it running into a princeton chorus which actually sounds pretty nice live.
